This is my third and final review/update for this place. A 6 month dental exam and cleaning takes 3 hours at this place! 10 am: I waited almost an hour to be called in. Had the x-rays done then was taken to exam room. Sat there until after 11:30 am and had to say something to get the cleaning started. Cleaning was pretty quick. Had to wait for the dentist. He showed up around noon. Did his thing then I had to say something again so I could be finished. Dentist was too busy to do the scaling so the hygienist did it. Was done at 1 pm. 3 HOURS!! Way too long! I was going here for 4 years. I finally had enough. I'm not going back. Avoid big chain dental offices! Staff and dentist were nice and did a good job, but they get over-booked with patients.
The staff are amazing I had no appointment but got my teeth cleaned in like 2 hrs.
I visited West Coast Dental for the first time because I had a major tooth ache. When I first walked in I didn't know what to expect, especially since my fear of the dentist has made me put off dealing with my tooth ache too long. However, the pleasant service I received when I checked-in calmed my anxiety. When I was called in by Yizel, the Treatment Coordinator, I was very pleased with the way she explained my treatment that my fear of the dentist suddenly disappeared. Yizel was patient and understanding with all the questions I had about the procedure. At the end of my root canal, yes root canal, just saying that makes me cringe, I left satisfied with my treatment and without pain. What made it better, they explained many options for me to pay for the treatment. They made it so easy to decide to get my treatment the same day that I am going to make them my regular family dentist. Thanks West Coast Dental.
Extremely friendly office, every employee is very helpful,informative, and welcoming. Dr. Simon, Dr. Yashari, Yizil&Stephanie made me feel like my questions mattered and went above and beyond to answer them appropriately. Can't beat the price or the service!
The staff upfront are very friendly but the wait times are ridiculous. I filled out the health paper work 3 times prior and each time I went back in they couldnt locate it so I would have to fill it out each time. I showed up to a first time cleaning on time and an had hour passed and they still didnt call me in so I got up and left.I am self conscious on my smile as I have an overbite so I scheduled an orthodontist consultation. The Dr. made me feel more self conscious on my appearance by stating he would not want to fix my overbite and I would look like Paul Ryan in the future if I went through with it. Horrible first impressions at this location and I would not recommend anyone going there.
